If there is one reason, above others, to take up city biking, it would have to be for the sake of activity. I believe that the amount of physical exertion done is far greater in this regard than, for example, driving a truck with the design on the side. You also have to consider that you'll be working upon a vehicle that is best suited for you. This is the goal of companies along the lines of Linus Bike but the ways it can help to market a brand are quite numerous.
While many companies air general commercials to people, they aren't going to be ones that are set to target any one person. They are meant to appeal to a general audience but, as you could imagine, the needs of people are going to shift from one to the next. I'm not saying that this is bad, by any means, but it definitely shows that there better strategies to utilize. In my mind, though, all it takes is a greater deal of time and work in order to produce better results.
I also believe that more communication can be done in this fashion as opposed to others. You won't be able to keep in touch with people inside of your cars, so taking to the outside world is important. It also gives you a great opportunity to talk to people about interests, to gauge what they like. If you are able to tailor a pitch to them while taking all of these aspects into account, who's to say that the person won't be interested in the area and press for more details about it?

Wouldn't it make more sense to utilize this, though, especially when you think about the benefits it presents more than alternative choices? It's clear that you're going to be able to attract a great deal of people thanks to this.
