In the media today there is an abundance of news articles regarding Earth's pollution. Certain European countries do not suffer from this at present and citizens often ask themselves why do other countries complain as much about the deadly toxins. Drive into the countryside and you will be able to soak in the clean air which the countryside is renowned for compared to the big towns. Those towns and cities which have little or no pollution are in the minority now compared to a decade ago.

There are number of different factors and toxins which are damaging to peoples health which are in the air we breathe. Examples often include cigarette smoke, acid rain, Organochlorine, Dioxins and many more which we are familiar with. Changes in our modern day living add to the various causes. Smoking or factory fumes or pesticides used in our farm lands and gardens , all contribute to the air pollution without us thinking too much about what is happening to the earth. Everyone today has at least one car in their household possibly two.

Each big city is the same all over the world at rush hour. Most of the cars or vans are parked on the road idling their car engines due to the fact that the traffic has came to a standstill due to the fact everyone is heading home at the same time. Scientists today are on the hunt for the next new energy source to replace gas and oil and also the car pollution. The problem with only become worse and reach crisis point possibly within our life time if they don't.

Carbon monoxide surrounds our atmosphere and is a gas which no person and see or feel or taste which would seem unusual for us to breathe in our air. There are various types of gases and toxins which pollute our air including cigar and cigarette smoke but the biggest contributor is found to be fumes from vehicles. We may not know it but we may have been inhaling gases which are harmful to us over a number of years and not have known.

Is also known to be a contributor in respiratory breathing problems. Modern life comes at a hefty price today as most of the population have health related problems due to inhaling this gas. Many of the studies today involving transport and factory buildings blame most of the current days problems on them due to high air pollution.

Have your say. What do you think causes the pollution in our modern living? Can a solution be found within our life time? Hopefully scientists can find a solution soon.
