When someone has a dream that starts at an early age, it often leads to a lifelong pursuit that can bring them many great successes. This driver became interested in the sport at the age of only nine years old, and she has been determined to be the best ever since then. Reagan May racing is one of the great role models for young women everywhere to show them that anyone can achieve their dreams no matter who they are.

Since starting her career, she has won a number of prestigious awards for young drivers. She has had the honor of being named Rookie of the Year in a number of divisions as well as the IMCA Youngest Winner at Luxemburg Speedway. The awards just keep coming in for this talented young driver.

May was the second-ever female winner of the TUNDRA Super Late Model Series. This is an important achievement for women everywhere. It makes it a lot easier for young women to feel they can chase this dream when there is someone they can relate to who has achieved success.

May comes from a whole family of drivers. Both her father Kip and her brother Parker were racers, and so she has plenty of opportunities to develop her skills and learn about the sport as she was growing up. May's mother is also involved in the driving scene, always there in the pits to help out.

Much more than just a driver, she has also attended Michigan Technological University. That is where she got a degree in Mechanical Engineering, a huge advantage to have as a racer. This gives her the ability to understand what is going wrong when she has car troubles and allows her to be able to fix problems on the spot.

Some of this racer's idols include any individual who has been able to make it in this sport since it is such a hard thing for anyone to do. She especially looks up to any women who have excelled in the sport since it is so male-dominated. But above all, she looks up to her own dad who gave her the opportunity to race and has an amazing legacy racing SCCA.

As someone who is on the road a lot, this driver does not have any specific track that she calls home. Having so much experience on all kinds of different tracks, she has built up a level of experience that allows her to work with different conditions. All she needs is to be put on a track and she will be able to race on it.

It is the competitiveness of the sport that gets this driver feeling really involved and excited about it. One of the things she loves best about the competitive aspect is that even though they are trying to best each other on the track, they always walk away from it as best of friends. She sees the other racers and people in this community as one big family, and that is something she really enjoys about the sport.
