Hana road tour is among the greatest world adventures. This is an experience that is restorative of body and mind with incredible waterfalls, black sand beaches as well as dozzy drives. The experience along the way allows you to appreciate the engineering genius of the bridges and the highway.

The azure ocean lines the left with limpid water pools, natural bamboo forests, taro plants and graceful waterfalls lining up on the right. Bridges with a single lane, linked corners and cliff climbs make the drive exciting all the way. This is a magnificent get away idea with great rewards. It combines serpentine costal life with a tropical jungle.

The entire stretch is 84 kilometers of adventure from Kahului to Hana Town. Adventure is both on and off the road. Numerous stopovers to relax and enjoy as you shed off fatigue. Tension will be blown away by the wind and the scenic sunset from point to point.

The Baldwin Sugar Museum sets opens up an exciting chapter with locals playing on the taiko drums, graceful ballet, hula and other tunes on the slack key guitar. Your host is the largest sugar processor in Hawaii. The events at the adjacent cultural and art facility act as a curtain raiser to an exciting trip ahead.

Ten miles into the highway is the Garden of Eden Arboretum and Botanical Garden. It stands on ten hectares of land with breath taking sceneries. This has been recognized when it was given the honor of offering the first scene in the movie Jurassic Park. The flora and fauna at the pack are a combination of native, tropic and pacific species. Kids will enjoy the roaming ducks, chicken and geese around the compound.

The Lower Puohokamoa Falls is situated about eleven miles along the highway. The water falls about 40 meters giving you a perfect pool at the bottom for a swim. You will meet Puaa Kaa State Park about twenty two miles along the way for more breath taking swimming and falls. The trails on this park are basic giving you a natural remote feeling.

Waianapanapa State Park stands on 49 ha land with black sand beaches of treacherous waters. It is not friendly for swimmers but presents rock arches and sea caves to cover for the deficit. You will see traces of the old highway which was first built on this land. Tiny shrimps in the water give it a blood red color at times.

Wailua Falls and Oheo Gulch are the other stops before your final destination. The fall drops 80 feet blow on a cliff that is covered by vegetation. The gulch is lined with pools that are tempting to adventurous swimmers. These two adventurous areas act as a perfect hemming to your trip.

The end of the Hana road tour is a welcoming native village inside a paradise of rain forest. You will enjoy the food, clothing, wines and fish supplies in this village. There is a hotel with world class services for you to relax and a breath taking view of the sun dipping into the ocean at the end of the day.
