The history of the world have many developments happened as man progressed to the future. There are instances that most inventions prove useful to many people while some end bringing the destruction. Yet one main lesson that history teaches us is that history repeats itself.

The automobile has developed itself through out the ages. From cavemen walking on the dirt of earth until riding on a tame animal. But as development spreads and peoples nomadic instincts grow even bigger some need an even faster mode of transport. That can outrun any animal. Today there are cars and some are classics such as the kubelwagen kit.

This kit offers car lovers the chance to build their own war time car based on the popular beetle vehicle. It is debate though that this type of vehicle has out won the jeep because more dependable in terms of transport and comfort. Many past veteran soldiers from the allies have attested the power and speed of this beetle vehicle.

It is a simple vehicle revered and begrudgingly respected by the winning team. Captured ones were made to good use by translating its original manual to english so it could run and help in the war again. At the end of the war this vehicle was imported to many countries due to being reputable tough and solid.

Sometimes the wagen is compared to the jeep which is more suited to the midwestern areas. Where the environment is dry and humid. The wagon is faster to manufacture and not only is the speed well but also very comfortable to sit during transportation.

From the kubelwagen the schimmwagen was made. The military car used only on the earth has proven itself once again in watery areas of earth. It was designed to move in water, can you imagine how awesome that is, a car plunging into the water likes a tiger hiding away from its poacher.

When the schimmwagen immerses itself in water a propeller is lowered into the water, and act as an extension on the rear side engine. At the front the steering wheel is used to maneuver the car in water however there is no reversal in this type of wagen. That is why it is equipped with paddles and a propeller.

What came out was a car that could swim water. A propeller was added at the back, once the car hits the water it simply is lowered down. Engaged with the engine at the rear end while the front wheels is stirred using the steering wheels. The paddles were added because there was no reverse in this unit.

Who knows what else can be reproduced and developed from this unit. The kubelwagen appeared during a time of great need and it has serve its purpose very well. Even though war is not imminent to happen in the present, but it still has proved itself that it is not merely a junk but a useful piece of tool for man.
