The manufacturing of Bridgestone Tires is just part of the diversified products that are created by the world's largest tire and rubber company called the Bridgestone Corporation. The English translation of the surname of the founder was used to name this company that was founded in 1931. The business quickly grew to be the biggest tire manufacturer with the mission based on the words of its founder proclaiming to serving society with superior quality. Using the concept of foundation to demonstrate sustained commitment of employees who provide world class products and services to communities help fulfill that mission.

Bridgestone transformed into the largest tire and rubber company with a global team dedicated to service customers throughout the world with the highest level of technology, quality and service as they expanded not just overseas, but also acquired the Firestone Tire and Rubber Company in 1988 as the automobile industry grew and so did the tire manufacturer. Becoming a global enterprise was part of their dream to designate the Bridgestone brand as the number one brand in the world both in substance and in name.

In 1951 Bridgestone Tires developed rayon cord tires and in 1959 started the sale of nylon tires. In 1967 the first new radial tire was sold, with the company expanding all around the world increasing manufacturing facilities to keep up with the increasing sales. In addition to the focus on tires, this company also manufactured diversified products that spanned a wide range of industrial products. Products like polyurethane for automobile seats and interiors, for insulating and sealing appliances and buildings and also for bedding and furniture were included. Other products include rubber tracks used for crawler tractors and other kinds of construction equipment as well as conveyor belts and tires for aircraft.

A product line for civil engineering and construction materials is available furnishing a wide variety of products such as additives for pavement and waterproofing sheets, multi-rubber bearings that can be installed in foundations to protect buildings from earthquakes, sporting equipment and rubberized ceiling and roofing materials, also marine fenders for protecting wharves. Bridgestone produces a special line of golf balls and even has its own brand of bikes that they manufacture, which has gotten us far off of the topic of vehicle tires that we originally intended to inform you about mostly.

Another business who is ahead of its time produces the quality Dunlop tires that provide a better experience for passengers and drivers with the superior tires they manufacture. This company uses precision design and cutting edge technology to make ultra high-performance tires for motor-sports and also excellent tires for the everyday driver using the same technology.
