Town Fair Tires are becoming a popular place to get tires. While this is a good place to get a good bargain on tires, you must be on the lookout for tire scammers how frequent these places.

There are literally hundreds of brands of tires. Of these you would have heard of some, others probably not. Know your tires before going to Town Fair Tires. Beware of what these guys try to sell you, you may get ripped off.

An extra thing to know is that you don?t need alignments and any other add-ons they will try to sell you. These extras only cost more money and possibly have you returning for more work.

Another customer?s son went in to have the winter tires replaced with summer tires. It was told to him by a manager that he would need 4 new tires. Before the boy had gone to Town Fair Tires his father done the job for him.

They had tried fooling the boy into buying four unneeded new tires.

Still another customer went in to new tires put on his wife?s Lexus. The salesman talked him into buying Toyota tires. The salesman told him they were warranted for 75 thousand miles. He paid $730 for them. The customer requested that the best old tire be put on the spare. He checked before he left and it had not been done. It took them another 30 minutes to complete the job. Later, he found out they failed to balance the tires so he took it in again. On this occasion he was told he had two bent rims. After about 115 days a ball sized lump developed in the side of one tire. Because of the warranty assurance from the salesman he returned the tire to the store. They told him that he bulge was caused by potholes. As he didn?t pay a fee of $14.00 and the tire was on discount, the warranty was invalid so he was told.

Town Fair Tires gave one customer great deals on his tires. The customer needed to go back three times as the tires were not balanced correctly When the car reaches 55 miles an hour it begins to shake, he reports

Town Fair Tires was a place one customer went for his truck?s winter tires After he got his truck back, he noticed that the area where the weights had been was damaged. He took pictures of the area and showed them to the manager. He showed to the manager the photos he?d taken. He was told by the manager the work would be done for free. Later, the manager called back and told him the regional manager refused to pay for the refinishing.

Many customers have had problems with this company. Anyone wanting tires from them should think twice.
