The use of cars in movies is not a new concept in the film making industry. Action vehicles are special automobiles that have been set aside for activities that are related to film making and production. This is an integral part of movie making that cannot be ignored in order to contribute to the making of high quality and creative visual works that can be watched by audiences from all over the world

A vehicle in real life is used as a mode of transportation that enables people to move from one place to the other. Films are seen as an imitation or a trial to represent reality and normal life situations using a camera. Transport is a major part of the lives of human beings and telling a story about them moving from one place to another may require the appearance of any kind of automobile in a scene or two of a movie.

Human beings own and use cars on a daily basis to move about from one point to the other. This is in real life and it has become a necessity to have a way to move from this place to the other and the simplest way to do this is by using a car. The appearance of automobiles brings out a realistic point of view in the eyes of an audience.

Showing how people move around in cars in a film is very important. It goes a long in making a movie look very real and close to reality. This practice is not new and even the earliest movies showed vehicles either carrying characters or supporting events that involve the characters in a certain film. Action packed films also have a way of using cars.

This means that a car can have more than one application on a movie set. One application is when it is used as a prop. This is where the car is in front of a camera and is seen by the people who will watch the footage. The other application is when it is used by the camera crew as a piece of equipment to aid them in taking quality shots from strategic angle.

A vehicle is selected for a certain scene and it has to meet the requirements of the directors and producers of the movie. Many cars can be used in one film but this obviously increases the financial budget allocated for the outsourcing of props.

Many companies have come up with the service of leasing and providing special vehicles transformed specifically for certain high budget movies and films. The companies get contracts from the respective or affected movie production houses to provide all the cars they need for a certain documentary, music video or just a full length feature film that is being shot.

Making the audience think that a certain character in the film owns a certain car is the aim of the movie makers. The use of cars in a film should be put into consideration by film makers.
