Despite what you may think, sweet 16 planning doesn't have to be challenging. This is especially true when you consider the importance of decor, which the best party planners in the world will place tremendous focus on. How should you decorate your party so that it's as pleasing to the eye as possible? When it comes to the planning process, in this respect, here is how you should go about it.

Sweet 16 planning requires ample work, but you should start with finding the right color. Softer hues like pink and light blue tend to work well, not only in terms of decor but outfits like sweet 16 dresses as well. Companies along the lines of Estelle's Dressy Dresses will tell you to keep this as consistent as possible so that the same colors, for the most part, are prominent. By doing so, decor will come about much easier.

Tables should be set appropriately for decor reasons, too. Sweet 16 birthday parties will have their tables set with different accessories, even beyond tablecloths. As a matter of fact, candles and vases with flowers inside tend to be quite popular. As you might have already imagined, the colors they feature should be consistent with the rest of the party. When tables are set well, they add more atmosphere to the party setting.

Finally - and this might be the most important component of sweet 16 decor - make sure that the atmosphere isn't too kiddy. Many young women look at this party as one of the first steps toward adulthood, meaning that there should be a sense of maturity in terms of how the venue is decorated. This can be a challenge, especially for parents that might not know better. A lighthearted atmosphere is fine, but it shouldn't come at the expense of maturity.

When it comes to sweet 16 decor, you can clearly see that there are several factors worth discussing. While the eventual party will be an enjoyable one, there is ample planning to be done as well. With this in mind, you should take the time to learn as much about decor as possible. By doing so, you will be able to plan your party better, regardless of who it's for or what time of the year it takes place in.
